Picture Books at Portland Book Festival

We are thrilled that our picture book host, Emily Arrow, is back for the digital Portland Book Festival, presented by Bank of America! She’ll be introducing our picture book story times and art activity videos. All videos will be posted to the video library at PDXBookFest.org for free on-demand streaming throughout the Festival, so you can watch at your own pace.

2020 featured picture books include:

Don’t miss these special sessions, which will be available on-demand but also played on our livestream! Info on the schedule.

Middle Grade Events

We are thrilled to be presenting wonderful middle grade events, featuring writers from near and far! Don’t miss these great new books, and catch these authors live on PDXBookFest.org. Saturday November 7 and 14 will be dedicated to youth and teen programming, so be sure to clear your schedule, grab some popcorn and get in your coziest clothes to settle in for these great author events. Miss something? Don’t worry, most events will be available to watch on-demand a couple days after they air!

2020 featured middle grade include:

And we are thrilled to be presenting Scholastic GraphixCon with these mazing graphic novels and stories! Don’t miss it, live at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7. RSVP here!

The official bookseller for all picture book and middle grade books is Green Bean Books. Your book purchases support the Festival authors who share their work at the Festival, and the bookstores who are working hard to keep their businesses open during these difficult times. Please support the Festival by purchasing books from our partner bookstores.
