Slamlandia – August
Slamlandia is a poetry open mic and slam that meets every month at Literary Arts, on the third Thursday. This mic provides a creative, fun, and welcoming space for all literary communities in Portland. We encourage poets new and old to come share their work. We strive towards a safe space for poets to read their own poetry, witness others, and participate in community.

Jane Belinda
Jane Belinda (They/Them) is a queer poet and fiber artist from Portland, OR. They are one of the co-founders of the Bigfoot Poetry Festival and they are the current Indie Champion for Slamlandia. They have been recently published in Pile Press and forthcoming in Pool Party Magazine. About a year ago they quit their desk job to be a full time artist so if you ever dreamed of being a patron of the arts like a bored aristocrat, hit them up.
