Apply to Marylhurst University’s show:tell Workshop for Teen Writers!

Show:tell the Workshop for Teen Writers is a nine day writing seminar for student writers between the ages of 14 and 18 hosted by the Department of English and Literature at Marylhurst University. Within a diverse community of learners, students receive college level instruction in creative writing and contemporary arts, as well as developing skills in critical thinking and collaboration. The program, which combines writing with interdisciplinary workshops, brings professional visual artists and writers of short stories, poetry, fiction and nonfiction to teach the seminar-style classes.

The workshop takes place on the Marylhurst campus from Thursday, June 20 through Friday, June 28. The application deadline is June 13th, and as the workshop fills rapidly, we encourage you to apply soon!

The total tuition for the workshop is $650. A limited number of scholarships are available to students who have participated in a WITS residency.
