This reading will feature authors from Best Small Fictions 2019 reading their work. Featured readers include:

Margaret Adams’ short fiction and essays have appeared in The Best Small Fictions, Threepenny Review, Joyland Magazine, and The Pinch Journal, among other publications. Originally from Maine, she currently lives in the Navajo Nation where she works as a family nurse practitioner.

Marcelle Heath is a fiction writer and editor. Her short story collection, Nine Times Gretchen King Is Mistaken, is a finalist for Awst Press Book Prize. She curates Apparel for Authors, an IG series on writers, fashion, and the public sphere.

Alvin Park lives and writes in Portland. He’s associate fiction editor at Little Fiction. His work has been featured in The Rumpus, The Mojave River Review, Wyvern Lit, Synaesthesia Magazine, Wildness, and more. He is Korean.

Benjamin McPherson Ficklin will never surrender—Benjamin McPherson Ficklin will always love you. Their work has been published in Lomography, wildness, Tahoma Literary Review, Ursus Americanus Press, Tahoma Literary Review, Clackamas Literary Review, Autre, Oregon Voice Magazine, and featured in the Best Small Fictions 2019. When not wandering, they teach literary seminars in their hometown of Portland, Oregon.
