The Art of Observation: Developing the Memoir

March 1 - April 5, 2025, Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (six sessions)

$325

Ideal for writers looking to develop a memoir idea or take an existing draft to the next level, this class will employ the art of observation as a core skill to mine memory and the present. Participants will generate 10-20 pages of a memoir in-progress. The class will also explore unconventional narrative structures and work extensively on imagery and creating authentic character development on the page. Participants will receive extensive feedback on their drafts from the instructor.

We want our writing classes and Delves to be accessible to everyone, regardless of income and background. We understand that our tuition structure can present obstacles for some people.
