
Short Story: Take Two!

Ideal for writers of short fiction and all levels, this fast-paced class will work on two drafts of the same short story to refine and review all the elements of craft, including character, tone, voice, and subtext from several different perspectives.
Participants can expect to generate two drafts of a 10–20-page short story and receive extensive feedback from the instructor on both drafts.
Access Program
We want our writing classes and seminars to be accessible to everyone, regardless of income and background. We understand that our tuition structure can present obstacles for some people. Our Access Program offers writing class and seminar tuitions at a reduced rate. Most writing classes have at least one access spot available.
Radhika Sharma
Radhika Sharma is the author of Parikrama, a collection of short stories and Mangoes for Monkeys, a novel. Radhika has been writing for over two decades and her byline has appeared in several publications including The San Francisco Chronicle, The San Jose Mercury News, India Currents, Tri City Voice and others. One of Radhika’s stories, "Just a Photograph", was showcased by Kearny Street Workshop in APAture 2013; another story Daddy Cool was published by The Santa Clara Review.
