Diana Gerding died on November 9, 2020 at the age of 82 after a brief battle with cancer.
Diana served on the board of Literary Arts from 1999 to 2005 before she was elected to the Strunk & White Society. Diana was an important steward and leader of Literary Arts, and remained a trusted advisor right through this summer. Diana was a huge believer in the power of literature and especially cared for our work with youth.
We have lost an influential citizen who put her community first, and she will be deeply missed.
