This year’s Portland Book Festival returns to the Portland Art Museum and neighboring venues in downtown Portland on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Join us for this all-ages, daylong celebration of books and storytelling in all forms, including author panels, pop-up readings, writing workshops, kids’ story time, an extensive book fair, local food trucks, and more.

How to Attend
Portland Book Festival General Admission Passes are required for all events.
General Admission passes are required for entry into all Portland Book Festival events. Full-priced passes are $18 in advance and $25 day-of and include a $5 book fair voucher! Youth 17 & under or with a valid high school ID, veterans, and active military receive free passes! $5 Arts for All passes available for those with a SNAP/Oregon Trail Card ($5 book fair voucher not included with free or discounted passes).
Skip the lines by picking up your passes (wristbands) in advance! Advance pass buyers can pick up their wristbands at Portland’5 Centers for the Arts’ Antoinette Hatfield Hall lobby at 1111 SW Broadway, Wednesday–Friday, November 1–3 from 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. In-person ticket purchases can also be made at this time.
