Live Broadcast: OPB’s Think Out Loud, with Elizabeth Gilbert

Join us at the Literary Arts Bookstore for a special interview with visiting Portland Arts & Lectures author Elizabeth Gilbert, with OPB’s Dave Miller, as it is broadcast live on Think Out Loud.

This event is free and open to the public, however space is limited so we kindly ask you to RSVP below.

Elizabeth Gilbert rocketed to fame for her best-selling romp Eat, Pray, Love. Her latest memoir has a very different tone. All the Way to the River: Love, Loss, and Liberation details her journey to heal from sex and love addiction. It is also about the love of her life, Rayya Elias, a Syrian-born recovering addict and musician. Elizabeth Gilbert joins us for a live broadcast in front of an audience at the Literary Arts bookstore.
Dave Miller

Dave Miller

Dave Miller is the host of Oregon Public Broadcasting's daily talk show, "Think Out Loud." Before coming to OPB, Dave was the senior producer of "Open Source," a nationally syndicated radio show based at the NPR affiliate station WGBH in Boston. He began his radio career as a documentary producer at Sound Portraits Productions and StoryCorps. From 2008 to 2011, he worked as the online host of the show. His stories have aired on NPR's "All Things Considered," "Morning Edition" and "Weekend Edition Saturday." Dave graduated from Harvard University with a degree in English.
